[It's been a pretty busy day, spent mostly with reacquainting himself with everything in Johto; from the things as small as battle mechanics to gauging how much has really changed since he's been gone. Now it's late night, and Izaya's got no plans to fight every HootHoot on Route 29, so he's just sitting on the New Bark Town signpost. May as well use this time to make his presence known, right? Right! He turns of the video, a slightly smug smile on his face before speaking.]

July? Oya... how much time has passed! Really, I can't imagine - our captors must have been very bored if they decided to bring me back after so long! And here at the very beginning, no less. I wasn't even granted the privilege of a strange coma? Johto, I'm so disappointed.

But that's enough of that. Really, having to start over again is nothing short of troublesome. Now that so much time has passed, I have to ask -- Kachin, Rise-chan -- are you both still here? After all, I did ask you to keep watch of some very important belongings of mine these last few months. Once I arrive at Cherrygrove once again, I'd like to retrieve them, of course! [He points upward, grinning almost innocently.]

I have so much catching up to do, I'm sure! Old acquaintances gone! New ones to greet and see! I can't say I expected it... but this may just be a lot of fun.

[He pauses, letting out a flippant sigh.]

...Well, provided that a certain bartender hasn't made his way back as well. Although I'd think after his last misgivings, even the NPCs would give up on such a hopeless case.

Though I suppose I'll have to wait until I'm in Goldenrod once again to replace some of my other belongings. [You know. The chess board.] How troublesome.

[And with that, an abrupt cut of the feed. Now it was time to wait and see just who was still around who was of any interest to him.]

Continue on as I was before, really.

Traveling, mostly. [This is a bold-faced lie.] Though I suppose that's not much different than what the rest of Johto's residents do!

Traveling is more of a way of life here, really. Though it does have some interesting places to travel to.

It is, it is... but you could just as easily settle down in one of the larger cities, as uncommon as that is.

I suppose you could. It might not be nearly as interesting, though.

No? I'm sure it could be very interesting if you know where to look!

And where do you think that would be?

Well, that would vary from person to person.

I'm fond of Goldenrod, personally.

Oh, I agree; I think if I were to pick one town to stay in, it would be Goldenrod. So many things to do there.

There's hardly ever a dull moment there, in my experience. So many interesting people and things passing through.

Everyone seems to pass through there eventually, yes.

Most do, given the resources that are there.

It is the largest city, isn't it? Most of the others are rather small.

It is, it is. Violet City's a very popular one as well, though.

I don't think I find Violet nearly as interesting, though.

It isn't, no. Not on most occasions.

Well, it depends on who's in town, of course.

Some visitors would be more interesting than others, I imagine.
